A medium aromatic green tea blend with roasted brown rice, a classic tea in Japan.
Grown under the shade for 3 - 4 weeks helps the leaves retain more chlorophyll and this helps the tea from becoming bitter and creates higher levels of fructose to give Gyokuro that natural sweetness.
The toasted brown rice adds a rich, sweet taste and brings this Imperial Gyokuro together in a harmonious way.
"Don't sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them." - Madam C.F. Walker
